¿ªÔÆÌåÓý? Hi George and Michael, ? I have been out-of-pocket for a few days as we went to Colorado for our oldest granddaughter¡¯s graduation from the Colorado School of Mines. ? Michael, I found the color code for the transformers with the colored wires in one of the CD V-700 Manuals.? See the attached schematic. ? I keep a pretty good lookout for any of the CD V-700s (except for the Antons) and have not found any at a decent price lately.? They seem to be going up in price like everything else.? Ever since Putin fired a few rounds near the Chernobyl? reactors the prices have been going up and the quantity of foreign stuff has increased tremendously.? ? Last time I tried to buy one with a broken handle the price was the same as for one with a good handle and the guy wouldn¡¯t budge.? I assume it eventually sold. ? I don¡¯t think that the broken handles are even much of a problem.? I think that one could drill a hole in both pieces and put some JB Weld along with a short piece of steel (a piece of a nail) and stick the two pieces together and maybe do it where the crack would barely show.? I never have tried it but it should work.? It would be worth a try if anyone ever has a broken handle. ? Lenox ? ? ? Subject: Re: [CDV700CLUB] Leni conversion #3 ? OK MichaelC. Don't dismay. You have a good housing, a good meter etc. ? Would you consider sending just the PCB to me and let me look at it?? ? Then you can move on to your next project but keep the housing meter etc. until I return the PCB or a different one for it. ? By the way, I can remove the switch, set the tension, polish it up and it will look and work like new! ? Also try to find ENi CDV-700's that have damaged or missing handles or probe clips for cheap. We'll talk off list about that. ? Lenox, if you're reading this you do the same. ? Geo ? ? |
