Re: Progress!!
Thanks Charles for clearing that up...I think I will just dust off my
DOS 7.0 and all my books and run it all under DOS. Sounds like it might

Don,
No, and Yes - It would actually be easier, in some ways, to write a
Windows version, but there is a problem in writing ANY windows version, and
that is Non assured latency (even worse than DOS).

I want to apologize to everyone in the group for posting

Hi,
I've actually made some progress on my CNC mill project. After a lot of
fruitless experiment I've finally got a usable driver circuit working
and I now have motors rotating in response to the

Re: Stepper Drivers and Motor sizes
You can buy a 110/24VAC 10 amp transformer from Marlin Jones for $18.
That and a full wave recifier and an good electrolytic cap of about 15000 UF
50 VDC should be all that you need. Don/t forget to

I think that if it is used for selling related to discussions or that
someone is selling a used servo system or tell others where they can buy
stuff should be fine.

Hi,
I would say yes within reason but all ads should say exactly where the
items are. Perhaps we could have a standardised heading such as 'For
sale, US' or 'For sale, UK' etc. as I would then set

Hi All
I have been lurking for about a week now looking at what everyone here
is building.
I originally got interested in building a router when I came across
