There are just so many groups.? For example I've been posting on the EMC-Users ?and MachineKit groups on perhaps building something like my ELS that services as a DRO/Power Feed controller but with an Ethernet connection to attach to LinuxCNC or MACH when CNC or G-Code interpretation might be wanted.? The E-Leadscrew group and Digitalhobyist group have also seen activity on that.
Way back I think this group was quite negative about the idea of an ELS which is why the E-Leadscrew group was formed.? Now there are all sorts of the smaller versions with a few buttons, a knob and a LCD display using Arduino.?

So maybe the CAD-CAM-EDM-DRO group is redundant.? People getting into the CAD CAM are on the forums for Fusion 360 and I use AlibreCAD/CAM which has its own support group.
