Yes, these things have really xlnt adiabadic efficiency. If you want
to go fast, they are the ticket. Cost plenty, too. At least as of a
couple years ago they were outlawed in the professional drag race
world.
Making the rotors would be off-scale difficult; but just the case and
reqd ports would be non-trivial.
