The California Creates (CA-Creates) eGroup is intended to facilitate effective communication for our grassroots economic movement to get more filming in our state. This space is for sharing ideas, resources, meaningful discussions and leadership outreach.

We are Producers, Directors, Actors, Vendors, Crew, Transportation providers, Union members, Film Commissioners, Freelancers, Tourist Destination support and Small Business Owners of all kinds, working in CA.? Runaway production has become a real issue for Californians who are deeply invested in this industry.

We have an attainable goal of “ $1 Billion dollars” to be allotted via CA State Tax Incentives towards filming, TV production, commercials, music videos, and all kinds of media/content creation in California.? We aim to revitalize our entertainment industry with more competitive and streamlined tax credits for larger productions and cash rebates for short-form and lower-budget films.

As one who cares deeply about the filming industry in California and all the souls affected by it, thank you for joining us. We are the activists and concerned citizens joining forces to make positive change. ?It’s time to " Bring Hollywood Home". The Golden State must shine again!
