| HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT ALL OF THE SUPPORT, COACHING, CONTENT, LIVE CALLS, AND COMMUNITY AVAILABLE TO YOU INSIDE THE BYC MEMBERSHIP? BYC MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION IS CLOSED UNTIL LATE FEBRUARY 2025! ? BYC Membership registration is closed until late February 2025, and members are busy gaining clarity, building confidence, crafting their search plan, honing their impactful introduction, mastering my four-phase methodology, up-leveling all of their career skills, landing new roles, and so much more. And I am right inside the Membership with them in small-group/topic specific coaching and continually adding content to meet their needs. BYC Members are finding an unparalleled level of support, they are making progress every day, and they are learning to take back control of their career because they know you can outperform, out-deliver, and still be out of a job! DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. HERE’S WHAT CURRENT MEMBERS HAVE TO SAY: “I landed after 6 months of searching, yay! I received my offer letter while I was on vacation in Mexico. I start tomorrow, and I’m very excited. It was your mindset lessons that allowed me to relax and connect with everyone I met. Thanks!” ? –N.E. Current Member | | “I missed the opportunity to participate live in the Q&A last night, but I did watch the replay this morning and have made the decision to register for the 3-year membership (could be because this is my 2nd lay off in 4 years). I’m planning to register as I did nothing after I landed the first time to prepare me for this, and I really only want to work 8-10 more years, so don’t want to be here again.” ? –B.R. Current Member | | “Just writing to let you know that I put pretty much every tool you’ve taught us to use, and after about 6 months of grinding it out, it worked!” I just verbally accepted an offer to join a great company. Bigger role, larger team, fully remote, and a 20% increase in OTE from my previous employer (not including a 6-figure stock option package as sign-on).” ? –闯.叠. |
"This is not just to find my next job, this membership is to find the habits that make job opportunities possible for the rest of my life." “Pat’s program and assignments have been thought-provoking and have given me great insights into what I need to work on, where my focus should be directed, and how to get there.” ? –A.C., Current Member | | “I am part of BYC [membership], and it’s the best decision I ever made." –D.C. Current Member ? | | "My favorite part of the membership is being able to get back on track with my career. I was at a crossroads and needed help finding direction - and I must say, I found more clarity in just a few weeks of this membership than I had for the past year.” –M.P. Current Member |
Join the Member Registration Waitlist, and I will notify you when the membership registration opens again in 2025. See BYC Membership Waitlist details below. The BYC Membership is a coaching-led membership because do-it-yourself programs will not get you from where you are to Bulletproof...for LIFE. ???Your "Just Do It" Job Search Strategy for 2025
?? Companies Hiring Sales & Pre-Sales Roles NOW!?
?
Let's?dive in?
________________
|
|
|
|
|
|
Let’s talk about your job search strategy for 2025.
?
Be honest—does it look something like this?
- You update your LinkedIn profile and wait for a recruiter to reach out.
- You apply to dozens of job postings and hope for a response—or worse, dread the rejection email.
- You cross your fingers in interviews, hoping to get invited to the next round.
?
Sound familiar?
?
Look, I get it. In the past, this might have worked. But today’s job market? It’s a whole different game.
?
While you can’t control challenges like layoffs or fewer remote roles, you can control how you show up and stand out.
?
A proactive job search is about doing just that—taking charge, creating opportunities, and making things happen.
?
Here’s how to make it work for you:
?
1. Ask: “What Can I Do Right Now to Move the Needle?”
?
2. Be Ready to Address Objections
Nobody’s perfect, and recruiters know that. What matters is how you handle concerns.
- Gaps in experience? Prepare clear, confident responses that frame gaps as learning opportunities.
- Career breaks or short stints? Build a narrative that highlights your growth and adaptability.
- Career changers? Practice translating your experience into skills that align with the role you want.
?
3. Don’t Wait for Help—Ask for It
- Let your network know you’re looking for your next opportunity. Remind them what you’re great at and what you bring to the table.
- Reach out to the hiring manager to run a dry run of your presentation before the big interview.
- Ask for advice when networking. Employees can give you valuable insights about the company culture or role expectations.
- Practice mock interviews with friends or colleagues—it can make a world of difference.
?
4. Keep up the Momentum
Even after the interview, there’s more you can do to stay top of mind.
- Send personalized thank-you emails to each interviewer. Reference specific parts of the conversation to show you were engaged.
- Take a relevant certification and share it with your interviewers.
- Follow up with the recruiter 2–3 days later to express your enthusiasm and check on the status.
??
It's a Mindset Shift!??
Being proactive isn’t just about taking extra steps—it’s a whole new way of thinking about your job search.
?
Instead of worrying about what’s out of your hands, focus on what you can control.
?
Make it impossible for the hiring team to ignore you:
- Don’t wait to be noticed: Be the one who follows up, reaches out, and shows why you’re the right choice.
- Ask yourself daily: “What can I do right now to move the needle?” Then do it.
- Create your own opportunities: Whether it’s building an onboarding plan, taking a certification, or sending a standout follow-up, small actions add up.
?
Let’s make 2025 the year you don’t just search for opportunities—you create them.
?
You’ve got this, and we're rooting for you every step of the way!?
|
|
|
|

Thanks for reading!?See you next Sunday! ?
