Eyepiece FL and Secondary Shadow
I recall a discussion about certain eyepiece focal lengths causing the shadow of the secondary to be more prominent. Is there some coorealation between EP FL and scope FL?

Re: [C14] Eyepiece FL and Secondary Shadow
I have used the TV55mm Plossl at f/11 and with the 6.3 focal reducer and have not seen the shadow that some talk about. Paul Atkinson

Increasing Contrast in C14
Greetings, all. In really drak skies the scope does very well. But I have a friend with an Astrophysics refractor and we argue about contrast. I cannot fix the central obstruction, and I keep the

Finderscope - was - Re: [C14] Does the C14 OTA visual back accept a 2" diaganol?
Good afternoon Jim: I use the Celestron 7x50 Polaris Finderscope. It is a very nice finderscope and can double in the role of rough polar alignment. Clear skies, Kevin Dixon ksbtk@... From:

Re: Does the C14 OTA visual back accept a 2" diaganol?
Is anyone using the TV 55mm Plossl with the C14? Please pardon all my questions -- but I am coming from a life of 800- 1200mm focal length refractors. This 3910mm fl takes some getting used to.
