Just note that you can buy just the OTA and skip the CI700 mount
entirely.
I am quite happy with the OTA just did not care for the CI700 mount
at all.

considering selling it to a club member (highest sealed bid). If I

brainer (C-14 GOTO) as I am really only looking for a visual

Exactly! The slippage is a problem. Also, I can't get unguided
CCD images much beyond 30 seconds with the CI-700, even in Fastar
mode. I was hoping for better performance from the mount.
I have inquired of my dealer if I can trade in the CI-700 for the
NexStar version of the mount.

I'm seriously considering getting the C-14 GOTO. Can you tell
me the issues and fixes you've had with the CI-700? I would assume
most have to do with the RA Clutch slipping.
