Hi all, I myself am very sceptical that the Carbon Fiber tube will have benefits vs an Aluminum Tube on an SCT, or MCT.
If so, why hasn't someone like Roland Christen used this on his AP 10" MAK? Or Yuri from TEC?
Aluminum seems to transfer heat quite well. I've been told by a few that it will not be better.
Was this perhaps a marketing ploy by Celestron? Or perhaps a cost cutting measure? Mark
