I have a C 14 Edge that I use for video astronomy. Why not just defork the optical tube and put it on a heavy duty mount? ?Lou

?Hello All
I rarely login, so please excuse the lateness of this response. I purchased a 1983 made C14 - orange tube. The OTA mounted on the provided forks with the Right Ascension clock weighs in excess of 100 lbs. Also, according to a very serious astrophotographer
- the Celestron standard RA clock is not sufficient for AP. However if you get the BYERS GEAR change, you can use them for AP.
