Hello Denis,
Thanks a lot :-)
I do remember that night ... it was pretty cold ...I broke part of
the car front bumper because I used the car as a snow-plough to
arrange a small platform for the telescope...
Best regards
Christian

Wonderful lunar
images from you in this and other posts. I used some of your
solar and lunar images alongside a picture of you iced up with
your C14 in a talk I gave to the BAA in September in Dundee
earlier this year. The talk was about amateurs who go much
further than the norm in their pursuit of perfect results. To
my mind you are in that category. Keep up the great work and
post more images when you take them.
Best wishes

[C14_EdgeHD] Some lunar images taken with the C14 last
Saturday
?
Dear
All,
It
has been a very long time since my last
image of the Moon.
Last
Saturday, the weather conditions were very
favourable with a strong thermal inversion
(7¡ãC at 1500 m and -3¡ãC at 300 m), so I took
the chance, pack everything in the car and
get to my "summer observation site", which
is usually close in winter because of too
much snow.
Here
are some first images with some nice riles
seen with low incident light.
