The focal plane of the scope is too close to the front of the telescope. In fact it is welll inside the telescope.

As far as the two knobs goes though if it is an Edge then the two knobs are mirror locks.? You would loosen them,? focus,? then snuggle them up again.? This must be done every time you focus if you are using g the stock screw focuser.


No it's not an edge, it's a C14A. The two knobs are shipping screws and have to be removed completely. Why Celestron's manual??? doesn't mention this,I can't imagine.

It has the edgehd back casting does that mean the extra knobs on the
