When I was installing a CGE dovetail plate on the top of my C11 Edge HD OTA (to attach a guidescope) I accidentally loosened two of the screws that hold the mirror in place rather then the two accessory screws.? The two screws didn't come out of the tube but I can't retighted then (I assume they were held in place with some top of Loctite).? I have traded messages with Celestron technical support and they are suggesting that I ship the OTA back to them in order to fix it.

Has anyone done this before and have you noticed any problems?? I have used the scope and based on a star test it appears to still be in perfect collimation.? There are a number of screws that hold the mirror in place and I only loosened two of them.

Before I go through the pain of shipping the OTA back to Celestron I thought I would check with the group for any experience with this mistake.
