I received an enquiry from a group that want to repaint CP 420997 which is located in Bonfield, ON. They would like the paint to be as authentic as possible. My understanding is that the paint was supplied by Phillips Industrial Coatings in Winnipeg (now a PPG company), but I have little information beyond that. A number of years ago there was some talk of a paint chip program similar to the one CN SIG did. Did this ever happen? Any information on the paint would be appreciated. They asked about the Action Yellow and the black paint used. ? |
