Re: Agincourt Yard?

Chris,
The questions you have re Agincourt yards are in a way easy and
then again difficult to answer depending on the experiences one may have had
visiting the yards. Personally I have had no problems any time I have
visited the yards, I have asked for a waiver a few times and other times I
just do a drive through and hope that I don't get caught. To get to the
engine service facility you will want to enter from the McCowan Ave.
entrance which is just north of Sheppard Ave., you can't miss it as there is
a railway bridge just before you get to the entrance.
I have been in these yards many a time and never had a problem but that
isn't to say you must not proceed with caution. There are all kinds of
movements in these yards and to be safe I would advise that you do sign the
waiver. You will need to stop in at the main building which is where the
hump tower is located. I believe the office for the waiver is on the third
floor (might have changed) and once again once you have this waiver please
proceed with caution. Also if you plan on going into any of the buildings
you will be required to wear safety attire (hardhat, safety boots, eye
protection).

Good Luck!
