Re my Messages B#81 and B#82 of March 16.
Correction:
It was brought to my attention by Rainer Auer that CP could be
interested in SCI and another company Concor. Concor is correct. SCI is
not Seacontainers International, but SCI symbol stands for "Shipping
Corportation of India".
SCI and Concor both are companies the Indian government is trying to
reduce its holdings in. The Indian government owns 80% of SCI, and wants
to sell at least 40% of it. The Indian government owns 77% of Concor. CP
Ship's owned Contship Containerlines could be taking and equity stake in
both the state-owned shipping companies.
In B#82 I stated that BNSF is being fined $10 million for false
statements, this has nothing to do on rail-mergers but between a family
and a BNSF wreck. I won't go into detail.
This clears up some inacurate information on my two late evening Posts
of last night.
