streamlined light-weight express car added, plus the "McAdam Sleeper"
which handles passengers from St. Stephen, St. Andrews, Woodstock plus
other areas.
The "Atlantic Limited" departed westbound with a total of -16 cars.
Locomotives are refuelled, engine crew change. Baggageman, Trainmen,
Conductor handle this train Saint John-Brownville, Jct. Maine.
About 30 Mins. later the westbound "Gull" for Boston arrived from Saint
John:
Power: Mine Central EMD E-7 708 with 9 cars.
The Maine Central U.S. Mail Postal& Express car was added and later
departed with 10 cars towards Vanceboro, Maine. CP engine crew and other
CP crews are replaced by Manine Central staff.
Next Morning At McAdam, N.B.
"Atlantic Limited" train #42 from Montreal for Saint John & connections
with CPR's "Princess Helene" to Digby, N.S. and Dominion Atlantic
"Evangeline Dayliner" East-West trains.
Power: MLW/Alco's RS-10 8465-FB-2 4464-RS-110 8469.
Train #42 arrived with 16 cars, Two yard engines working east-end and
west-end of train-"McAdam Sleeper" taken off, one streamlined
light-weight express car taken off. Train departed eastbound to Saint
John with Total-14 cars.
"Gull" from Boston enroute to Saint John-Maine Central EMD E-7 of 700
series with 7 cars.
Maine Central U.S. Mail Postal car & express taken off. "Gull" departed
for Saint John with a Total of 6 cars.
Gas-Electric-Combination 9008 later departed south for St. Stephen.
"Dayliner" RDC's from Saint John departed Northbound on Woodstock
Division North Line to Edmundston:
