Former Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 "Royal Hudson" 2860 will celebrate its
25th anniversary June 20 after being reborn in 1974. For the special
occasion, there will be a double-header with ex CP 2-8-0 3716 from North
Vancouver-Squamish, B.C. return on the "Royal Hudson Excursion" Usual
departure(Wednesdays through Sundays) departs North Vancouver BCR
station at 1000 arriving back at about 1600. Train usually runs with 14
to 15 cars. BCR's evening dinner train "Pacific Starlight" North
Vancouver to Porteau Cove-business so far this year up 20%-on board
train service-dining, buffet, bar service and other catering is done by
Canadian Pacific Hotel's subsidiary-Delta Hotels & Resorts.
