For years CN 385 would have the slabs going west thru Burlington West,

Back a year or a bit more CN 397 had the slabs and 385 disappeared.? Different time
of departure from Mac Yard, I guess.
Then 397 disappeared and seemed to be an afternoon departure.
Disappeared meaning I no longer saw either train.
Today, Sunday Oct. 29th?at 10:10A an eastbound with CN2869 (ES44AC) on the point
and CN3045 (ET44AC) mid-train had 10 cars with aluminum slabs.
Are the slabs still going west and where would the eastward 10 cars of slabs be going?
Can't be rejects?

Nice to see the class lights, which haven’t been needed now for what, 33
years? Too bad they took the real bell off though.

Guelph, North Spur

开云体育

In Guelph on Tuesday, Oct. 10th?and noticed 4 chaps working on, a guess,
about 80 ft of track that was laying beside the working track. Track is on
ties and south of the south leg of the Wye to the Guelph Industrial area.
Just north of a crossing to a hydro building it appears that the area that
this section of track is sitting on has been graded extending about 100 yards or
so north.
Starting work to put in a siding to the east of the working track and siding
or going to replace a section of working track.
Who knows.
Interesting that the Guelph North Spur extends from Guelph Junction, Guelph Sub.
to a connection with the Guelph Junction Railway at mlge 2.73 but the crossing
to the above mentioned hydro building is marked 0.86 GJR South Spur.
Another mystery of life.
