For the life of me I can't find the compiled hex files. Help!

Why do you need the hex files when the source code is available?

I'm having problems uploading to my Nano since I did upload a hex file successfully. I cannot get even the blink example to load now. NADA. But the hex (avrdude) loader still will upload hex files. It must have busted the bootloader or something.

Finally fixed it. I don't recall using the old bootloader earlier and I thought the hex loader might have disturbed it since I could no longer upload sketches.?
Long story but all is well when I selected old bootloader.

Never did find the compiled hex files but going from source worked fine for my 20x4 display.

Fun project for sure.

I have a limited time to sit in front of my computer and my reply is late.
I am glad I have already solved the problem.
You have already solved it, but we will let you know by sharing information.
I always use the Release function of github when releasing a version.

Its location is the link below.

You do not need to subscribe to download the file.

Ian, I'm marveling at your code! Fantastic.
I had seen your note about 5 hex files being available and I couldn't find them.
I was having problems with the source and couldn't upload them. Hence the look for your hex files.
The problem was the nano bootloader! Choosing the old option fixed things! My 20x4 I2c works fine.
Now I can enjoy you work again and add minor options to it. I like to P&M stuff (plagiarize & modify). :)
