I have shorted pin 3 (+5vdc) of raduino

 

I made a mistake connecting a paddle, I thought the dash had to be connected to pin 3 of raduino which brings 5v. So when I keyed the dash the LCD shut down. It seems no damage was done, however I would like to know from you what to check in order exclude any possible damage. 73 Franco
 

The Raduino would have survived dont worry.

Check the dash contact for any arching damage pitting. If there is then use a strip of paper and polish it.
