replacing V2 board with V3 ???? DOES NOT DROP IN

I GOT THE v3.02 ? BOARD KIT TODAY.


The V# board heat sink is offset from the enclosure cutout .... OOPS ///


do I need to take off the outputs,,, and take the sink off and mount the sink from the back side of enclosure/?


the v#.02? heatsink is? two fins closer to the BNC than the V2.0 board


I wanted to get this on a trip tomorrow....? ARG ^$%$#&^^

I'm not sure whats going on. I noticed you have SN 0045, mine was a V2 radio also, SN 0042 so built at the same time yours was and my new V3 board just dropped in very easy. Maybe the heat ink is slightly bigger, IDK. Maybe someone from HFSignals can give some help here. A picture might help also.

same size sink fin area??? with 1/2 flanges on both sides///

?but offset about 1/2 inch ..


perhaps? i just swap heatsinks ???

that was stupid on my part to not have thought of that before the nibbler started work!
