New sBitx V3 3D printed wedge feet

Someone posted an image that had some similar feet but I could never find them published on any of the normal sites.? So I created something similar.?

These set the screen back at 30 degrees and are quite stable.? They also nest nicely for packing.??

They look good Jared, good job.?

Nice compact design.
I did these some months ago. Same idea, but I thought a back would be useful to help prevent tipping.

Also two versions of tilt legs

Bob,
I have been using? your fixed fixed design since I received the sBitx, it has worked well!??

My design uses the sBitx as a cantilever with the rubber feet going into the base to provide the support end.? So stability is provided by the length of the 3d printed feet and doesn't need a back brace.? I went through a couple of iterations of "too short...too long" before I settled on the current size which is pretty stable.??

I printed up the foldable leg stand with PTA and have had the top of the leg bracket break off from the support, right at the screw. ?This area seems too fragile if the legs are extended? to the bracket stop.

Not sure what PTA is. I printed mine with PETG.
Which folding stand? "tilt legs" or "adjustable tilt legs"
In designing the "tilt legs" I tried to keep it from sticking out higher than the heat sink fins so the sBITX would still fit in the same case. The "adjustable tilt legs" is beefier and adjustable, but sticks out further.

Barry probably means PLA...

Bob, sorry about the PTA….? PLA. I used the tilt legs version. When the legs were fully extended a little pressure was put on the case,? the bracket broke. The break was right at the pivot screw hole. I was able to fix the bracket with gel super glue.

The? tilt stand is very good and I do like it. I just don’t know how much pressure I exerted on the case to break that bracket.

? If you aren't concerned about fitting the sBITX into a tight case you might try try the adjustable tilt stand which should be stronger. I know that it takes some force to push select on the encoder knobs. If I just poke at them the rig often just slides back. I usually hold the case down with a few fingers on the top and push with my thumb to keep the rig from sliding back.

Don’t want to pile on but I would really like the feet too. I don’t have access to a 3D printer. I will gladly pay for them and postage.?

Hi Jared,?

I really like your design. I remixed them with 16mm longer rear supports to increase stability. I added the remix to your original post.

Nice! I had some longer ones during the iterations of designing these as well.??
