Sadly during the long night and early morning 2 Mega Pros and 1 I2C 4x20 LCDs gave their Lives until I figured out a wiring error on the Raduino header on uBit Main Radio PCB.

Ouch Mike! The error is actually on the uBITX?

Good question.
But since Mike was not specific, I'll assume it was his error and not something I need to know about.
Perhaps 12 power from the uBitx got wired into some MegaPro signal pin.?

The first blow up was (I thought) I put the I2C connector backwards on the LCD.? It is not polarized there.

I hard wired with shrink that end,? and the other end is Molex polarized.

Then everything worked until I hooked up Radio 12V.? I had screwed up thinking, one pin that did NOT need to be hooked up

fed 12V back to 5V on my RaduinoXP.?? This time, it only Blew Up Mega Pro, the LCD was spared.

So I hope I am done with the Snap, Smoke!

All working now.? One thing I wish was Connector Pin 1 be designated boldly on the top silk-screen.

I had lots of double checking on which pins were #1 on all connectors.? I think they all have a square pad on the bottom copper.? So now I am hooking small coax up for the Volume pot.? Also ALL ground wires on connectors have been replace with BLACK Wire.

All Voltages RED.?
