Let the fun begin

My bitx40 just arrived. Ordered 2/12 delivered 3/7.? Too bad there's a halfway this weekend. Maybe I'll get some build time Sunday afternoon. Wish me luck!

Hamfest not halfway. Stupid autocorrect

I just ordered mine. Reading the posts here is torture! ;-)

Hi
What is your serial number. It is written on the main board.

The serial number is difficult to read but looks like 43-228.

Just curious, what does the serial number tell you?

Hi Randy,

Here's a bit more data for your list

73, Andy

KG5RKP ?869 ?11/19/2016 ?11/22/2016 ?12/19/2016

The number is like this :
AB-xyz
The xyz is the serial number within the batch B. A is not a number, it is the initial of the tester. 'F' is for farhan, 'U' is Uma, etc.?
- f
-?

Randy,

Since you are collecting data, and i'm a data nerd:

Ordered: 11/8/16

Shipped: 11/11/16

Arrived: ~12/10/16

s/n: #707

Cheers,

So I'm been reading my serial # as n2-414<?
In Ashhar's note I can infer mine was the 414th of batch 2 the tester was either N or Uma upside down. Can I assume the last character was a check mark?

Received mine today!

ordered - 02/15/17
shipped - 02/28/17
delivered - 03/10/17 (SE Massachusetts, USA)
S/N - N3-253

comments - the small ziplock bag with the parts in it burst from the bottom seam, so the small bits were all over the box, including wedged into the BitX40 board, but everything appears to be intact. I have my power supply and speakers already, box should be delivered today or tomorrow and antenna within the week, so I can't say for sure yet, but I am confident that all is well.

regards, Richard - W2KAP

Well,

I don't see anything except what is written by hand and that will be as follows:

Serial: F3-141

Order Date: February 9, 2017

Received Date: March 08, 2017

This is a nice idea, especially as an added level of security and inventory. It is a very nice kit, too.

Patrick, K6PFG

(San Diego, CA, USA)?

Well Randy, I completely mis-read the numbers on my Bitx40 PCBoard.
The HANDWRITTEN numbers on the board are:

F3-1942

So sorry about that misleading listing, and excuse my liddy reading
here. So I see my board was inspected by The Man himself...!!!
