Fan for irf 510
Hi Yesterday I try to add a small fan to cooler the irf 510. It is a small PC 40 mm x 40mm size fan, I connect It directly to 12 v input but listen a loud noise ?"bzzzz" from the speaker. Any idea to filter the noise.? I want to avoid to add big heatsink to decrease weigth.? Best 73, Giuseppe. Ik8yfw |

I would try a ferrite choke and .1uf capacitor on the leads to the fan. Just a thought. Good luck. Marco - KG5PRT? On Mar 13, 2017 12:40 PM, "Giuseppe Callipo via Groups.Io" <ik8yfw=[email protected]> wrote:

Giuseppe Also twist the fan leads together. Randy, K7AGE On Mon, Mar 13, 2017 at 11:53 AM, M Garza <mgarza896@...> wrote:

Let the inductor and capacitor filter be close to fan rather than on the pcb. We need to bypass the? noise at the origin itself. You may use 470uF and 0.1 as a filter set. Sarma ?vu3zmv On Tue, Mar 14, 2017 at 2:10 AM, Giuseppe Callipo via Groups.Io <ik8yfw@...> wrote:
