This seems to be a 'feature' of Groups.io: Posts indented (offset beyond readability until scrolled across) with others 'standard' left-aligned (and scrolled back). Is it my mailer (Thunderbird, so I doubt it) under Kubuntu Linux, 64-bit?
Is it per-poster? I haven't checked.
Who else is seeing this?

I don't receive digests, preferring to get messages individually.

Groups.io gives you a few choices about digests:? go to the group Home, click on Subscription (left column menu), click on Membership (top menu) and see which digest choices you have indicated.? Have you tried the other digest formatting choice?
