Does anyone have a source for the microphone supplied with the uBITX V6 full kit?? I would like to obtain a couple for some other projects.? I have searched the net and could not find a mike like that with the TRS plug.

I found a number of them on Amazon.? You may do better on ebay.

Search for a "baofeng radio mic"

As Farhan stated above, you will need to cut off the 2 jack plug and wire in a TRS connector with the tip being the mic, and the ring being the PTT switch and the sleeve being ground.?

TRS is an acronym for Tip Ring Sleeve, reference to the 3.5 mm plug that is common for cell phones and portable audio equipment.? The only caution is that the most common for cell phones is actually a Tip Ring Ring Sleeve (TRRS) as there are 2 rings on the plug to allow for stereo headphones and a microphone.

Hi I found the Mic's hear


Mine was faulty the the mic capsule had broken the track away on the PCB in the mic. I still get very little rf out of the radio on ssb CW's fine I just need to make my own mic to get mine going on TX.
