Source for uBITX V6 Full Kit Supplied Microphone
We just snip off the original twonpin plug and solder a stereo jack in its place. I found a number of them on Amazon.? You may do better on ebay. Search for a "baofeng radio mic" As Farhan stated above, you will need to cut off the 2 jack plug and wire in a TRS connector with the tip being the mic, and the ring being the PTT switch and the sleeve being ground.? TRS is an acronym for Tip Ring Sleeve, reference to the 3.5 mm plug that is common for cell phones and portable audio equipment.? The only caution is that the most common for cell phones is actually a Tip Ring Ring Sleeve (TRRS) as there are 2 rings on the plug to allow for stereo headphones and a microphone. I have one(I will not use it) for my Boefeg HT. Everyone says the audio quality is bad. I? instead am using one that is made for and had the Kenwood brand The audio is good.
