I'm slow on my hobbies sometimes... But hey now I have an oscilliscope (Tektronix 2205) looking beautiful on my bench and I'm very happy about that!

I tried what you suggested, and putting in a jump wire resulted in no audio. Not even static.

Looks like I'm either onto a thousand question thread or ordering a new board... hmmm which sounds like less work. ;-)

Patrick,
I believe that the message was 54389 and you had lost audio. Now that you have the 'scope (Congratulations!) you can take a look at the I/O from T7/C222-1 and see if there is anything coming in from the receiver. If not, that would explain why nothing is passing through the new board. If it is present there, see if it's on the source of Q3. If it's there also, go to the drain and look. Let's say that it is missing there: Look at the voltage on the gate. See what a great tool that new 'scope is? You can walk right down the chain in no time.
Let me know what you find. -Don
