My SBitx V3 showing wrong time in desktop despite everything set right. Though SBitx interface is showing the correct time. How to rectify the time in desktop?
Please search the emails on our groups.io for either “wrong time”, “incorrect time”, or failing those, “time”. ?Also try searching for?“.profile” as this is the file that needs correcting and it is mentioned in the email you need to find. ?

In the pi home folder, there is a hidden file .profile.? ?The last one has a command that forces the time zone to Phoenix, Arizona.? Delete that line, and the configuration you set in the localization tab of the Raspberry Pi Configuration will be the timezone specified for the desktop and any other application that calls on the OS timezone.
