Mods questions: better audio, C91,C92, and line wirering TX-RX amunters Allard
Rob Bleumer
Hi ,
I made some mods and want to make some more but I'm not sure about it. So my questions: I made a mod some time ago I found on YouTube by VK3YE, after I had reports on my audio was too low in frequency and AM-ing. I removed C102 (47pF) and in the holes of the C103 I mounted a 27pF. Does this influence the Raduino v.1.27 software? In the user instructions of the Raduino v.1.27 software on the Github/amunters/BITX40 there is nothing about removing C91 and C92 for USB. Do I have to remove these to use USB when I want to use USB (later with JT65, FT8 etc?) About the?TX-RX wirering. The user instructions of the Raduino v.1.27 software on the Github/amunters/BITX40 is not clear for me.? Question about the diagram: is the c of the Transistor? 2N3904 at the brown or black wire? And the e of the transistor?? This I ask this because of my tune button who seems not working after making the mentioned mods. Thanks in advance for the answers, 73's Rob PA0RBL |

Re: mini360 voltage regulator for BitX?
Gordon Gibby
I drive my bitx40 with a $10 8Ahr gell cell from apexbattery
then i have a cheap laptop power supply at 19VDC that i picked up in a thrift store just for that purpose to drive the PA a little harder if I want to. I am using a simple dc-dc converter 12V-24VDC to drive some ubiquiti microwave devices that need higher voltage.....these are easily found the one I'm using for that project is $16 on amazon: ________________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Craig Wadsworth <cwadsworth@...> Sent: Monday, December 4, 2017 10:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [BITX20] mini360 voltage regulator for BitX? Has anyone looked at the output of a mini360? I¡¯m wondering what filter(s) would be needed to drive a BitX. ( I really must build one of Ash¡¯s Specans.) |
Re: elves are at it
trent, i wish somebody else does it! the circuits, the software, everything is open source. HFsigs owns nothing except the domain name and the pcb gerber files. even the content is open source. it would be even more fun for us to sit back and watch others do it. - f On 4 Dec 2017 1:30 pm, "Trent Trent" <vk7hrs@...> wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Sarma ji Thanks to Farhan, he ?spared a board for testing & plan a suitable enclosure, this is just the test C chassis , will finalise after Farhan freezes the hardware fixtures and buttons etc. He has suggested to provide some space for a battery pack so one could just carry it along for FD Happy bitxing best 73 Pop VU2POP

At least 2-1/2" inches if you are on standoffs. The stand-offs are 1/2 inch, the display is another 1-3/4 inch above the pcb. i am sending the pictures from the phone in the next mail in the thread. - farhan On Mon, Dec 4, 2017 at 11:49 AM, Mark <mark.g0nmy@...> wrote:
