Re: BITX 4 Band with Linear Amplifier and AGC
Can you post us the schematic? The thing to do would be to draw them out in ltspice and measure it for yourself. I am sure someone here can set it up for you

BITX 4 Band with Linear Amplifier and AGC
Newbie here.....i bought some bitx 4 band boards from pcbway......Mr.?Wahyu Hidayanto says the board is essentially a bitx20 with of course some on-board band pass filters. I was looking for the BOM

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
Hi, I think you may find it easiest to use the firmware that has the "memory manager" software.? That way you can easily enter the default VFO and BFO calibration numbers, and then have a starting

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
No. All the software you need is that provided by HF Signals. This may be different if you are using some other software than that provided by HF Signals. Some systems do provide separate EEProm data

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
Most any audio amp that is capable of driving headphones or a speaker can be used to trace audio through the uBITX circuitry.? Use a 0.1 mfd capacitor as a probe to isolate the amplifier from DC.?

Re: Parasites noises
Oh oh! I just saw this On the diagram of the Ubitx V6 the capacitor is not polarized. (To see on your models) Me on my diagram , it¡¯s polarized Maybe it is that? Anyway, I¡¯m going to desolder it

Re: Parasites noises
hello, Hello, To clarify I have this problem on my 2nd prototype The first one had 12MHZ filters and worked well the first time. Careful, the implantations are different. The 2nd is in filters

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
By updating the EEPROM have I made irreparable changes?

Re: Parasites noises
Hi Gerard, You don't mention whether this is new behavior or whether it had existed since you completed your build.? I've had a similar problem after an upgrade, and it turned out to be a cold solder

Re: HS Code Required
Sunil This is an Indian code. See for example https://www.cybex.in/hs-codes/ You should be able to get Diz to label the correct code on your next shipment. Keep up the good work on your kits! I guess

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
I am sure I changed the setting on this screen.? I was attempting to revert back to the base configuration.? I realize that was a wrong assumption.

HS Code Required
To import toroids? HS code required 1. T37-43 2. T37-6 3. T37-2 It would be great help if some one could share HS code for above toroids . Last time we imported toroids from kitsandparts.com he did

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
A weak signal at 10 MHz could indicate that alignment is needed. Misalignment can put the received signal outside the IF filter passband. Zero-beat means matching the frequency of two signals. There

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
You unintentionally went into calibration mode? Turn the radio off, this will? exit calibration without updating EEPROM.

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
If I turn the dial until it reads roughly 60,000 I start getting all sorts of tones that change as I keep turning the dial up to about 100,000.? Then they all go away.

I feel like a complete dope.? This is the screen I have.? I can just barely hear WWV on my SDR but cannot hear anything on the ubitx.? Thank you so much for your quick reply and assistance.? What

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
*** 10000 kHz is one of the frequencies of WWV. This is the time/frequency standard for the United States. Its frequency is *extremely* exact. They transmit beeps, clicks, and announcements with AM

Re: radio will transmit CW but not voice
OK I am starting over from scratch.? Perhaps I should not have done this but I held in the control button when I turned the unit on.? It made me do a screen calibration and now it says Set Frequency
