Re: uBITX V6
Greetings I really like the N9ME software for CW. ?Usability is greatly enhanced by adding a filter. ?I've put the Hi-Per-Mite in mine. My CW upgrades are described here

Re: Ubitx version 3 heatsink
Every radio I have ever looked at used one heatsink for the amp. The 50 watt FET amp that won the QST challenge did too. I¡¯m not planning on pulling the fets off the board and mounting it far

Raj, the MDS at 7MHZ is 10uv. A 50uv signal is as loud as the mixer noise. Barry Sent from Mail for Windows Sent: Sunday, September 4, 2022 12:51 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BITX20] Daylight

Re: #v6 Day 3 #v6
Thanks, fellows. ?I'm probably going to set aside the Nextion for now as I'm very happy with the N8ME sketch for CW. ?Maybe later this fall or winter I'll try the Nextion again. 73 Howard K4LXY

Hi Howard, Sorry for the delayed reply, hopefully others have already solved your problem. I am using Arduino IDE version 1.8.5. I have not tried more recent versions. Under the IDE ¡°Tools¡± tab I

Barry, I do not see one thing at all that is "shoddy" on your boards. I can even make sense of it while looking at what is going where after a bit. (Try that on any multilayered trace board made

I've used these active USB 2.0 extension cables with clip on ferrites attached to each end before to mitigate RFI between my PC and a RTL-SDR dongle. https://a.co/d/eZFPMR1 I wonder if this may be a

Re: Daylight again radio audio filter
The original on LTSpice turned up with a 10KHz roll off which is too high. So changed values with suggestions from Farhan till it looked right at 3-4KHz. This should reduce high freq whines and hiss.

Steve, If I was 10% as brilliant as Dave (W1HKJ) who wrote the fldigi, I would have gotten the psk31 decoder right on my own. Dave and his band of merrymen and a league in themselves! - f

Farhan - Hi Hi - and I've been telling my friend how brilliant you are to have used FLDIGI to decode CW, and RTTY. FLDIGI has a bunch of other digital modes that make the sbitx more capable and

Re: More Updates #sBitx #sbitx-k3ng
The CW is a strange implementatoon. CW sending is done internally by sbitx but it passes the audio to fldigi for decoding. In the future, I would like to move all the modems directly into sbitx and

Re: More Updates #sBitx #sbitx-k3ng
FLDIGI CW decoding seems to work best when the red 'pitch" line is just a little bit to the left of the peak in the spectrum display. Look at the scope display in FLDIGI and you can see when it's

Re: no icon on sbitx on touch screen...help....
The desktop icon is created by copying a file with .desktop extension in the folder/home/pi/Desktop. That file is already in the /home/pi/sbitx folder. 1. Press ctrl-alt-T to open the terminal. 2.

Re: More Updates #sBitx #sbitx-k3ng
The red line on the spectrum display is controlled with the pitch control. That marks the cw/rtty/psk31 decoder's central frequency.
