Re: Current options for replacing Raduino for v5 ubitx?
Lou, It works with the V5, although the wiring has to be modified a bit (Keyer an PTT pins). It's simple. Ram¨®n

Re: Current options for replacing Raduino for v5 ubitx?
Mark, the board has all the SMD components soldered at the factory. Only the connectors and the 7805 regulator need to be soldered. Ram¨®n

I assume you are aware that the 7in screen draws a LOT of power! Pay attention to your power supply and make sure it can handle the new screen! -- Rich

Re: uBitX problem
Hi Vic, 1400 pF is very high gate cap for the uBITX application. Find legit IRF510s from a trusted source. I didn't research the BPF suffix, but a _quick_ scan of the linked datasheet passes muster.?

Re: ubitxv6 kit - upgrade to 7in screen, need new case
Yes on the power, I¡¯d like it to have an extra port for the usb then I¡¯ll use a usb plug into a 110v adapter to power it. Get Outlook for iOS<https://aka.ms/o0ukef>

Michael, Other than buying an aluminum case and doing the metal work to cut out the front and back faceplates, no actual suggestions on the case.? I prefer metal for the RF shielding as the uBITX is

Re: uBTIX no signal or reception
So your radio is not dead. I would figure out what is not in alignment. Don't worry about the nano pins just yet. The heat sink and associated voltage regulator do get hot. My uBITX uses about 300ma

I'm a fan of knobs too. "Back in the day", when microprocessors were new and things like the 8080, 8748, 6800 and 1802 were state of the art, I proposed we use a microprocessors in one of the

Re: uBitX problem
OK, a new problem here. One of the IRF510 final heatsinks never was seated on the board from the factory. No big deal, it just sat higher and I compensated in the case to be sure it got cooling.
