Re: uBITX V6 heat sink temperature

Re: UBITX6 Will Not Select 17 Meters
@Steve, The "17m won't work" isn't that 17m doesn't work, it's that the quick select button for 17m doesn't work. If you don't want to update the software, you don't have to - just tune to 17m

Re: split the group
Yes that would make things a little easier in the subject line have the board model you are discussing (example [BITX20] [BITX40] [BITXv?] [BITXv6] etc ) in the subject line then design a mail sort

Re: split the group
Another approach is to set your email preference to "email each message separately", then use your mail reader effectively: 1. create a filter to put all BITX20 email in its own incoming folder 2.

Re: split the group
Skipping that this is a 15-1/2 year old list originally started to discuss Farhan's BITX20 design and has evolved into a home for all his BITX designs, you might be happier doing what I suggested

Go for it. Create? uBitx-v5-KD8CEC-Nextion-phone-only or whatever on groups.io or facebook or a 2400 baud dialup BBS. I'll be staying right here. Jerry, KE7ER

Evan, Where do you see 18 volts? Yes, the LM7805 voltage regulator on the Raduino goes into thermal shutdown if it gets too hot. After awhile the regulator will cool off enough and the radio will
