Re: BFO Question
you were right on Ted. I searched for the V1.12 software and it took a little bit but found a Beta version. I uploaded and the radio is working for me now. I had thought that I had the latest CEC

Re: The issue I spoke about on the V4 with 20m and CW FCC tests

Re: Abandoning my uBitx Ver 3
Bill Glad you are still building with the challenge. On QSX, I found the QCX to be quite dense. Labels too small out of necessity for space. No problem. I matched part locations from screen to board

Re: Abandoning my uBitx Ver 3
Its a shame to give up your built & fully tested board now? Why not buy a V5? Or maybe wait for the new V6? May the peace be with you. 73 M0OOZ

Re: The issue I spoke about on the V4 with 20m and CW FCC tests
Both cases come from the same source, heating in the amplifier usually the pre-driver and driver stages but it can include the finals. Its not thermal stable and parts do heat up and their bias

Re: v5 board original FW
Thank-you Laurence! This was not for me, rather for mrjohnac that requested the "FW" for the version 5 uBitx.? I assumed that FW meant Firm Ware, and I added that it was not a straight download,

The issue I spoke about on the V4 with 20m and CW FCC tests
I had mentioned this issue I have on the V4 that looks like RF coupling or leakage when testing CW on 20m for FCC compliance. I don't see it with SSB but if you transmit for long enough spurs will

Re: v5 board original FW
If you clone that github repo, you can built it yourself. Move all the .ino files into a folder called ubitx_v5.1_code Open the main file using the arduino ide in that folder
