Re: TDA2822 ill treatment test! Photo of blown TDA
B40, nothing. I accidently gave mine 20+ when a regulator shorted in the worst possibly way. No damage done. With that audio chip I'll be using a much better regulator! Although I may replace it

Re: toroid
Having the NANO board indicates that your BITX-40 is the later version.
Earlier version with analog VFO is identical except for the VFO.

Re: TDA2822 ill treatment test! Photo of blown TDA
You could just drive both amps in parallel instead of bridge, this would avoid the phasing issue.
But connect an amp output to the ring terminal will still burn it out if you plug in a mono plug,

Re: Large Heat Sink of ubitx IRF 510's
Walter,
A single heatsink is fine, but ensure you are using transistor insulating
hardware.

Large Heat Sink of ubitx IRF 510's
Is it ok to put one large heat sink in for both IRF 510's or do the heat sink have to be separated from each other?
Thanks for your help

Re: uBITX Sketch on an Arduino Uno R3?
#ubitx
You can make any pin work with an interrupt using the attachInterrupt() function. The Uno and Nano only have two external interrupt pins (2 and 3), but the rest can also be used for interrupts.

Hello, Sarma..
There were reports of these WX devices failing spontaneously, without any short circuiting.
The simplest explanation is that hfsignals ordered a batch of TDAs that are not capable of

Re: toroid
If you have the 16x2 LCD displaying the freq, etc., then you have the
Raduino. The toroid is not required.
