zBITX CW Keyer
Hello Ashhar I've received my zBITX this morning and have been listening on the bands in different modes. So far all seems to work as expected and it is fun to use this little rig. But I'm lost by

I had a similar thing with the radio hung up after about 30 minutes of operation.? That was with FW 1.02. After updating to 1.0.4 in RPI and frontpanel all runs nicely. -- Tilman D.

Hi there I find it odd that the pinout of the microphone is different from all other radios having 3.5mm stereo connector. They "all" do have PTT to tip and ground and microphone to ring and ground.

It was just because, in a modulator, we didnt need to balance out the audio. The audio automatically gets filtered out by the crystal filter [email protected]> wrote:

Me too. So now I have to decide whether it’s better to use them in the simple battery holder, or use the alternative battery holder that I also got, that steps it up to 9V and has a USB-C charger.

What's the downside of running the zBitx from a slightly lower voltage? I have a few LiFePO4 18650 flat tops I got from batteryspace.com. ?I prefer that chemistry for its lesser fire hazard. LiFePO4
