I have a few LiFePO4 18650 flat tops I got from .? I prefer that chemistry for its lesser fire hazard. LiFePO4 cells only charge up to 3.65V, and run down to around 3.2V.? So a pair would only provide somewhere between 6.4 to 7.3V.
