As I recall, you can run the sBitx without a display attached.
i don't want to over-simplify it, but I'm under the impression that the zBitx is really a simplified, optimized, lower-powered version

Re: ?Bitx

You can buy a board only sBitx, put it in whatever enclosure you want, and I think that would meet your goal. It is a bit larger board, so maybe not the form factor you're looking

Re: RealVNC conflict with FLDIGI.. intermittent
I think I answered my own question -- it depends on mode, some of the decoders are really slow, I switched to slow waterfall on FLDIGI, found my frequency and then turned it off.

Considering the huge success of the 5W zBitx, I would suggest HFSignals to provide an upgraded version " ?Bitx" similar to the original prototype shown at the FDIM presentation.

RealVNC conflict with FLDIGI.. intermittent
When I set the screen to Large (thanks to that excellent toolbox64), and use RealVNC, I find that FLDIGI sometimes freezes the SBITX waterfall display, particularly when changing modes.

Re: PSK31 overdriving audio on sBitx v3
I have the opposite problem. If I set the DRIVE to 63 so I get 10 W out, but fldigi and wsjtx output only 1.3 W when the sliders are all the way to maximum. I can't find a setting parameter that

Re: Vers. 4.301 64bit Macros don't work properly.
Hi Dirk,
Macros can be used in CW and FT8 mode, according to my experience. Entering \macro list in the text window will list the possible macros.
You can make the change, for example, by entering

Re: FT8: how to change the CQ line to CQ POTA
CQ isn¡¯t sent as characters FWIW, it doesn¡¯t take many of the 77 bits. In general, the thing that is constant is 77 bits, not 13 characters. Different message types are creatively compressed

Re: Anyone got a ZBitX or SBitX connected to the Internet?
Dear Bhatnagar,
I had a look at your blog. Innovative way of covering a balun indeed!
Should try that sometime as it looks simple and I do not have access to
