I will be writing a review of my QRP collection (too many of
them) for the local club newsletter.? I had commented to Ashhar
about the general idea of what I would have to say about the
"Bits".? He said that with the exception of the TX power section
and ratings the RF circuitry was identical between the S and the
Z.

i don't want to over-simplify it, but I'm under the
impression that the zBitx is really a simplified, optimized,
lower-powered version of the sBitx with SMT instead of thru-hole
components, to reduce size & cost. The two radios, while not
identical, essentially run the same software, except for UI
parts.

I think that's a fair comparison, I'm not certain what
benefit a product positions between the ultra-portable zBitx and
the larger sBitx would bring to the table...
