I just loaded the new 64 bit "Field Day" release and it seems to work well except for WSJT. The audio is fine, but there is no cat control. The Network Server is set to Hamlib NET rigctl and I tried

Re: sBITX 64Bit Pi Image Available

John,
Bookworm is also constantly being developed, as is a newer version from sBitx.
Currently the latest sb64p1.img is the 64-bit version.
I recommend that you do not overwrite the old SD card, but

It's ok.. I understand it can be confusing with several versions floating around out there. Yes, sb64p1 is the newest release that will continually be updated going

Re: sBitX Intermittent display - damaged cable

I wonder how well these would work with all the RFI inside the sBitx. Shorter, shielded connections are better, IMO.

The "final version" is chosen by everyone, I don't think the time will come for someone not to come up with a new idea!

For my RasPi station computer I use a 128meg SSD. It works well and it's faster, especially with app initiation. But having an SDD card hanging off the side of the radio really complicates hauling it

Correct. I don't want to give away all my secrets :)? That is why I use the low profile USB drives as to not damage or break anything.

Re: sBitx Power up display issue
Ok. I remember seeing that occasionally as well. Maybe you can try upgrading to sBitx v3.02 or give the 64 bit version a try. I haven't experienced the issue since I went to 64.
Good luck.

JJ,
So am I understanding you right? You never have a micro sd card inside the
unit and only run it from the usb? If that works well, that would eliminate
