Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
Andy, that’s fine, but if you’ll hit the books for a bit, you can learn this stuff easily. It’s taught in thousands of places and there are many examples in Ashhar’s schematics. In my early

Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
Sorry Doc - no, didn't help.? There are a number of different ways to couple and bias an emitter follower and I don't know how to translate Farhan's instructions to add "...an emitter follower with a

Re: Best way to use #sbitx with N3FJP, WINLINK, other Windows ham radio apps? #sBitx
That's good news.? Next we need someone interested enough in the topic to learn that API, learn sbitx internals, and write code for sbitx to call N3FJP's API. Also good news, next we need someone

Re: Best way to use #sbitx with N3FJP, WINLINK, other Windows ham radio apps? #sBitx
Great! You understand this a lot better than I do. Those other large software people are not going to learn SBitx commands, so simply interface from something like ICOM or Yaesu commands into

Re: Best way to use #sbitx with N3FJP, WINLINK, other Windows ham radio apps? #sBitx
N3FJP does have an API. I think there may now be one for Winlink. But again, the easiest thing is to simply emulate a popular transceiver. The design staff is not just one person; it is everyone

We use VARA in our HERMES project. I use hangover-wine to run it on the Pi inside the sbitx. I runs decently. But sorting out the PTT was the easiest part of the setup... : ) Cheers, Rafael

Best way to use #sbitx with N3FJP, WINLINK, other Windows ham radio apps? #sBitx
Yes, and as per JJ's request, here is a new thread to discuss this topic. Can people share best practices? I did try to get winlink to run on Pi using Wine, but failed. I do know there is 'pat' for

This level of stuff is possible already, you can see it operate from the command line. On my sbitx: 1) Start the sbitx application 2) Open a Terminal 3) Install some software: $ sudo apt install
