It appears to me you are building on one of the 64-bit OS images that people have provided. The issue is that $HOME/sbitx/ft8_lib/libft8.a is compiled for 32-bit mode so it is in the 'wrong

I fixed my update problem by issuing the following command: git reset --hard git pull ./build sbitx Now I have the latest V3.02 and it works good, however the sbitx link on the desktop not longer

You should rename the old folder to something else and not sbitx. Then clone to sbitx folder
