Re: Sbitx pi not maintaining time when powered off
Is the utc showing correctly on the sbitx software? That is how the sbitx works. It doesnt set or reset the opersting system time. - f

Re: Sbitx pi not maintaining time when powered off
Did you put a coin cell in the holder? It doesn't come with the radio because of shipping restrictions; you have to buy it locally. (If you upgraded a DE you also have to install the RTC module.)

1. Are you able to hear anything? Noise, even? You might try tuning a local AM station. 2. Assuming you have an oscilloscope, do the clock generator frequencies match the frequencies you expect? In

Re: Main Tuning Encoder Noise #sbitx_v2
This noise is radiated from the I2C bus during the frequency change. Increasing pullup resistors may help. When I opened up PL-880 and tried to hook up to the I2C bus to sniff, I've found that the

Re: Sbitx v2 noise on receive with antenna disconnected
I noticed that the sbitx tends to pick up local noise if you leave the antenna port open. Either connect it to a remote antenna (not a whip antenna connected directly to the sbitx) or a dummy
