Shirley,
I have read that there are ways to take an existing image and shrink it after it has been created.? That is done on a Linux OS, not a Windows.? I have not tried it.
I agree that it would

Could do that, but I'm reluctant to because I only have a couple of 64 GB

Shirley,
Try burning to a 64 GB or larger card.? Most 32GB cards are just a little shy of the image size.? There are ways to make the standard image smaller; it has not been done to

Has anybody out there managed to successfully burn this to an SD card? Most

Re: Main Tuning Encoder Noise

Does it sound like spike noise, like the synthesizer moving through frequency steps?? Capacitors across the encoder terminals wouldn't help that at all.? Or is it more like wideband noise?

Hi Evan,
Yes, I'm using the stock display and the stock firmware. I need to hook up my DE and see if I'm experiencing the same problem, it's not a huge thing as it goes away when I stop tuning, just

Hi Joel,
The other potential noise source is the display.? Are you using the stock display with the stock software?? If not, would you please share your configuration?

laid back sBITX V2

I 3D printed a simple, snap on stand for my sBITX V2 for desktop use that leans it back 30 degrees for better viewing. The sides simply slide over the rear feet and are held in place by a small flange

Hi Evan,
thanks for the hint. I commented this line https://github.com/afarhan/sbitx/blob/28ab6665c466cb393412b40a36e2621010aa49dd/sbitx_gtk.c#L4399. Works great. I still can open the web interface

Evan,
The old UI still works as it did. However, things like the logbook, ft8
sequencing, telnet, etc., are all working only in the webui.

Re: Disable WebUI
The gtk is now behind the webui. For instance, much of the FT8 messaging is
done in javascript on index.html. The logging is also functional only on
the web UI.

loopMasta,
I believe that the "chrome" UI is opened on line 4190 of sbitx_gtk.c

Try commenting the line out, and rebuild the sbitx software.? You must do this
