Re: CW with new build uBITX
In that case, I'm at a loss too! As I don't have mine build yet, I can't go any further with this, and my Arduino coding skills are just a tad better than my ability to hold my breath under water for

Re: Harmonics measured by Warren. How bad?
Mike, does it draw only 1.2A for almost 10w output? It seems complaint as regards the 3rd harmonics but is that fat bell shape around the fundamental complaint as well?

I will try both suggestions. BTW, I'm using CEC 1.097 firmware 73's AE K9AJE

Re: CW with new build uBITX
My guess would be to follow this schematic... and put in a second jack. You could also put (as I plan to) put a momentary push button across this (for when you don't have your key)

Re: Low Sensitivity uBITx v4 #ubitx
If your experience is similar to mine, it is very likely that you need to proceed with calibration of the VFO and the BFO, since the carrier frequencies fall outside of the (45 MHz and/or 12 MHz) pass

Re: Harmonics measured by Warren. How bad?
My uBitx (no mods) seems to be compliant on 20M SSB FT8 at around 9.5 W out (13.8V @1.2A in) Mike K5ESS

Re: Harmonics measured by Warren. How bad?
?IR2028 doesn't really seem to have ANYTHING on spurious responses. And I don't think you are really likely to exceed 10 W to the antenna if you stick to about 12V. So I don't see any real problems

Low Sensitivity uBITx v4 #ubitx
Using a v4 uBITX with latest firmware. I have good audio level. Hook up the antenna, get a lot of static. Tune in for example 10.0 Mhz (and around that frequency) and nothing. Move antenna to my

CW with new build uBITX
Have just wired my new uBITX 4.3. Installed the 4k7 pullup resistor at CW input and pulled tehn the CW port A6 to GND - nothing. Because it is a ADC port I put a 10k pot between GND an 4k7 and got

I also have Sunil's case on a v4 uBITX board . Added the 2 resistors (10K and 2.2K) to my Paddle key. Configured the software for Paddle use (latest firmware from KD8CEC). Measured connectivity etc.

hi yes it appears that ofcom only checks that you are not causing interference. if you are not causing interference then there is no technical spec. of course interference has to be reported by
