Re: Enclosure

Hi Bob,
The box I put mine in is 6.5 X 7 X 2.75. If I put my heart into it I might make it slightly smaller. Is 8X8X3 a standard, off-the-shelf size?

Thoughts on a Ham Bus
Arv:
All tough questions, but worth answering. Think of the possibilities. Personally, I think this should be of the free-to-use license, mainly because I don't want to see extensions to the bus that

Form an IEEE committee!
Control bus signal conflicts would be a challenge as they are when you try
to stack the third Arduino shield designed by different groups.
Also add a clock bus. At least 3

Re: uBitx Easy Digi hookup advice?
#ubitx
Hi Doug,
I used your method with great success. I did however, substitute R3 with a 1k pot connecting the wiper to C1. I wanted to be able to use an amplifier on digital but not at full uBitx power.

I have a new tested uBitX transceiver of the pre built type. Will it have a voltage protection for this IC included or do I have to add one?
Many thanks,

Re: uBitX CW Sidetone Volume
Mark I replaced R250 with a 10k trimpot to set the level. R250 is located at the front of the main board at the right edge of the Raduino board.

I suspect that some of our 3D printer gurus could come up with a card cage
to mount the motherboard to.
I used a lot of Prolog STD-BUS products a long time ago and they had very
nice plastic card

Re: uBitX CW Sidetone Volume
The sidetone level is dependant on the level of the volume control, so as a temporary fix you could turn your volume down slightly when you start sending and then readjust it on RX.?

If hams were to design and standardize a ham-bus-system approach to modular

should the design be placed in public domain, or under one of the
