Re: Gate voltage
Alan mm0wxt Gate voltage only determines where on the voltage versus current curve the device is operating. As you mentioned, different MOSFETs will show more or less gain at a particular gate

Re: A "Better uBit Raduino"
I have been asked if I had a uBit Raduino by many who bought RaduinoX PCBs. I have sold over 50 X PCBs and tested units. Well I finally got a few built and tested today. The Big Extra is I added an

Re: #ubitx new Alternate software for the uBITX #ubitx
Hi, thank you for the new s/w. I'm mainly doing CW and very glad that I can use my Bencher paddle now without any wiring modifications. There is still one issue to discuss: the WP (wpm?) display which

Gate voltage
Newbie question here. I read that the IRF510 gets unstable and breakdown at 3-4 volts. When setting RV2&3 to 100ma each , when i check the gate voltage it is 3.60 and 3.99-4V(2 different irf510

Re: Speaker Jack
Certainly! But only with binaural inputs. Especially with my binaural receiver! With a monoaural input, no, I've not noticed any weird effects. I'm just listening to 500 Hz wide CW bandpass. Often

Has anyone tried one of those adhesive heatsinks made for the Raspberry Pi ic's? Is this a long-term heat problem the heatsink might help. It certainly won't if it is from charging current into the

Re: uBit Encoder
Re-wrote it entirely. Single file, straight Arduino. The principle reason was to use my agile tuning method. That, and I enjoy making modifications and I can't follow the other software. -Don

It appears to start over with each batch; the first batch was around 1000 pieces.? Watch out for the U1 TDA2822.? If it has WX on it please consider replacing it with one from a reputable

Thanks Don, Are you using stock code on uBit, or did you re-write it??? I would like to use CEC code. It seems to work better than stock uBit? Mike, WA6ISP

Re: B40 LM386 and ?B TDA2822 and that 470?F Cap
Randy, That would be my suggestion. Wiring the tip to the positive output from the 2822 and the ring to ground will certainly work but I question the audio artifacts that can be seen when driving
